Matt started with Wooster Corthell in 2010. He studied at Southern Connecticut State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in finance in 2013. After spending over a decade in the industry he went on to earn his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2017. With his experience and knowledge, he is well-equipped to help to assist clients in achieving financial success.

As a fiduciary, Matt puts a priority on his clients. He enjoys building strong relationships with them and takes a personalized approach to financial planning. By taking the time to understand each client's unique needs and aspirations, he provides tailored advice to help them succeed.

Matt has spent the better part of a decade working with and being mentored by Al Wooster, our founder. It was through this relationship and aligned vision of the future that Matt was named as Wooster Corthell’s President and Chief Executive Officer in late 2022. Matt plans to continue the firm’s legacy and growing the firm’s success in the future.

When he's not working, Matt enjoys hiking with his wife, Dana, and their Australian Shepard, Mac. They can often be spotted at Sleeping Giant or other trails across the country.
